Microsoft launches Lumia 930, 830, 730 smartphones in India

Microsoft launched new smartphones, named Nokia Lumia 730, Lumia 930 and Lumia 830. All three smartphones are powered by Windows 8.1 operating system.







Lumia 930 is the top-end smartphone of the company and features a metal frame that covers its sides. It has a 5-inch Full HD display and and runs on a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB RAM. It packs 32GB internal storage and does not support storage expansion. This smartphone has a 20MP Carl Zeiss camera on the back and a 1.2MP camera in front. 

Microsoft's first selfie phone, Lumia 730 has a 5MP front with wide angle lens. The company is also preloading apps like Selfie Camera in the phone.






Lumia 730 has a 4.7-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. It packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage; the phone supports microSD cards with capacities up to 128GB.
On the back, Lumia 730 has 6.7MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash. Connectivity options in the smartphone include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. It has battery capacity of 2,200mAh and comes in four colour options.



The remaining hardware and software features of Lumia 830 are same as that of Lumia 730. However, unlike the plastic-bodied Lumia 730, this smartphone has a metal frame on the sides.


Lumia 830 has a 5-inch screen with HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 layer and comes with 16GB internal storage. It has a 10MP Carl Zeiss camera with LED flash on the back and a 0.9MP camera in front.
